🎓 Eligibility Criteria

Age Limit

(As on April 01, 2026)

  • Minimum Age: 21 years
  • Maximum Age: 30 years
  • (Born not earlier than April 02, 1996 and not later than April 01, 2005)

Age Relaxation:

  • SC/ST: 5 years
  • OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): 3 years

📚 Educational Qualification

The minimum educational qualifications differ by cadre:

For Grade ‘B’ (DR) — General Cadre:

  • Graduation in any discipline with minimum 60% marks (50% for SC/ST/PwBD) OR
  • Post-Graduation in any discipline with minimum 55% marks (pass marks for SC/ST/PwBD)

For Grade ‘B’ (DR) — DEPR Cadre:

  • Master’s degree in Economics / Applied Economics / Business Economics / Econometrics with a minimum of 55% marks OR a Bachelor’s degree in Economics with 60% marks and Master’s in any subject OR Master’s in Finance/Finance & Control with minimum 55% marks

For Grade ‘B’ (DR) — DSIM Cadre:

  • Master’s degree in Statistics / Mathematical Statistics / Applied Statistics / Quantitative Economics / Econometrics / Data Science / AI / ML / Big Data Analytics with minimum 55% marks OR equivalent four-year Bachelor’s degree in related fields with minimum 60% marks (50% for SC/ST/PwBD candidates where posts are reserved)
